INTRODUCTION
Steep is an open-world action sports game featuring skiing, wingsuit flying, snowboarding, and paragliding. I spent most of my designing challenge tracks alongside leading the prototyping effort on an existing IP.
MY ROLE
Game Design
I worked on the Steep: Road to the Olympics expansion primarily on design documentation and pitching content for future expansion possibilities. I also contributed to an existing IP which included prototyping and system design, specifically redesigning existing game mechanics and 3C improvements - adapting them to appeal to the modern palette.
Level Design
Designing and Iterating on challenge tracks for the Road to the Olympics expansion alongside the Level Design team. I applied the Rational Game Design Framework on the layout, mechanic introduction, enemy placement and modular asset content creation for an existing IP.
