INTRODUCTION
ONE is the world’s largest martial arts organization, hosting bouts across all styles of martial arts such as MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I was a key member of an innovative incubation team, spearheading the development of engaging, easily accessible games with a strong emphasis on athlete brand representation.
MY ROLE
System & Combat Design
My role involved designing intricate combat systems and mechanics that reflected the diverse fighting styles of popular athletes. I also focused on world-building and creating immersive narratives that complemented the combat experience. By adopting a metrics-driven approach, I analyzed player feedback to refine and balance the combat systems, ensuring they were both challenging and accessible. This approach allowed me to tailor player experiences to different play styles and target audiences globally, driving retention and increasing the game’s virality.
UI/UX Design
I dedicated myself to improving the player experience through thoughtful UI and feedback loop modifications across all titles. By creating intuitive interfaces and ensuring seamless interactions, I aimed to enhance overall player satisfaction and engagement. My goal was always to make the games as enjoyable and accessible to players of all skill levels and across the world.
